We currently use Later but I’ve been hearing good things about Dash Hudson. At my company we are looking and examining our software so I think now may be a good time to make the switch. I am wondering if it’s really worth it?

I am looking for a new social media manager so I want to choose software they can stick with and will have a good experience using?

Have you liked using Later? Have you and your team been satisfied with the user experience and the reports you’re getting from it? If so, I would probably stick with it, no need to change things up for the heck of it.

I’m not directly familiar with DH, but it looks like their reporting functionality may be more robust than Later’s, specifically being able to integrate influencer data into your console. It also seems like they layer in an AI to work with you on picking the right photos to post, but if you’re happy with your content creation you’d be paying for something you don’t necessarily need. I’d need to get a demo to be sure, but it also looks like Later has Twitter integration and DH doesn’t, but I could be wrong.

My biggest concern with dash is that they’re built out relying on a single API, which means if that gets cut their whole product is fucked.

Had a call with DH – would recommend doing so as well. It seems like it’s a very intuitive, well built platform but it’s very expensive and seems to have a narrow range of customer it is going after.

Edit: Sprout is the best SMM tool I’ve used, and there are lots of add ons you can explore as the needs of your company grows!
