I work for a college at a local university and we’ve been discussing cross-posting from our college’s account to the main central university account. I think I recall learning that you need to enable cross-posting between pages otherwise Facebook will severely limit how many people actually see the cross-post. Is this correct? And if it is, how does this impact Instagram? Do you need to have the cross-posting enabled from Facebook in order to reach the full Instagram audience?

    Looking for any insight.

I’m genuinely not sure how cross-posting works in this context. What I would do is automate the process with an integration platform like Integromat. There are even some premade templates that you can use for similar purposes. I’m mostly mentioning this because it would give you the chance to cross-post not only on Facebook and Instagram but also on Twitter, LinkedIn etc. 🙂
