    Creating a shopping community

    Tl;dr

    I want to create an online shopping focussed community, is Facebook better than Discord due to the low initial barrier and existing audience?

    Long version:

    Hi everyone! I am looking to create a community online for basically socializing while shopping. E.g. deals, latest trends, group shopping, and the like catered towards an audience that primarily shops online. I was initially thinking of creating one on discord but heard opinions like not everyone is on discord or might be too big of a jump for someone who has not used discord. So thinking of doing so on Facebook. So basically wanted your opinion about the right platform for creating a community.

    Things I want to post here are: live stream vids, play games together, create a page for deals, discuss various shopping related topics.

Now
