Confused about payment period for Twitter revenue sharing
I just received my first pay out from Twitter’s revenue sharing since signing up last Sunday. I’ve only been eligible for 5 days at this point and my first payout was $300. I’m super happy about it but when I went to check the payment period it said it was between Feb 2023 and January 30th, 2026 (basically since I opened my account). However, everything I’ve read says that they don’t pay you back for impressions you got before you became eligible for revenue sharing.
For context, I have a pretty big following (184k) and average between 2-8 million impressions per week. I have a pretty high engagement rate and post almost exclusively photos and videos. I don’t know how much those factors influence the pay rate, but idk…this just seems too good to be true.
Can anyone tell me if they’re actually paying me based on total impressions since I started my account or if it’s just for this last 2-week period?
