  Choosing the best media for a project

  Hi,
  I’m a professional photographer/filmmaker, and also a history enthusiast.
  For a while I’ve thought of sharing interesting stories about the history of photography, but also history through photography.
  I have some ideas that I want to try, but I’m actually not sure where.
  I myself enjoy the more traditional way of posting and consuming content — for example putting up a photo and just writing about it or about the story it represents.
  That’s more Facebook style, but Facebook is past its prime and probably not the best choice to start a new project like this.
  I could try TikTok but that means creating videos rather than writing. It’s something I’ll probably try as well but I don’t want to limit myself.
  Is there any platform where making a written blog still works?
