Can you target a specific youtube channel’s viewers on Discovery ads?

Title pretty much. Looking to create a CPC campaign through Google discovery because my business doesn’t work with videos. Can I somehow target users who are subscribed to a specific youtube channel?

With remarketing, you can create an audience of your subscribed users by selecting “Subscribed to a channel” for List members, then ensuring that your YouTube channel is selected. Once you create this audience you can add it as an excluded audience to your Video campaigns ([instructions](https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/2549058)).

I’m not sure you’re able to create retargeting lists on channels that are not your own

Sort of, you can create YouTube ads and as it targets you can edit/remove certain channels, honing your audience to specific channels, then create an audience off the actions they take.

Yes, you can select a specific channel as a placement for your discovery ad. You just have to type the name of the channel (or the topic) in the placement tool and select YouTube Channels (or videos) and select what you like.
