Can I set up Meta Ads CAPI for Leads that I get from Instant Forms?
Posted by on February 3, 2026 at 7:48 amI’m running multiple campaigns on Meta and want to understand if there’s a way to pass conversion data via CAPI for Instant Form leads.
I receive these leads through an n8n node and then push them to Google Sheets. The catch is that I don’t receive any fbclid or unique URL parameters. The only unique identifier available is a Unique Lead ID for each lead.
If anyone has set up something similar, I’d really appreciate your help!

Meta already tracks Instant Form Leads server-side……adding CAPI won’t improve attribution or require fbclid.

Instant Forms don’t pass fbclid in webhooks but Meta automatically tracks Lead events internally when form submitted… you don’t need CAPI for Instant Form conversions because Meta already has first-party data… if tracking downstream conversions like SQL or closed deals use Lead ID to match CRM records then send those events via CAPI with hashed email for attribution.
