Can I attribute ads from 3d party Facebook advertising?
Posted by on May 7, 2021 at 10:41 amI have another brand running ads through their facebook account, that link to our website. I can track leads in analytics but I cant attribute their leads, is there a way for me to somehow see how these ads play into our consumer Journey?
Eg. Can I see how these contribute to view-through conversions? -

FB had a product called Collaborative Ads that attempted to do this in a semi-automated way, but the iOS14.5 changes have hurt it a bit. Otherwise something fancy with CAPI may semi-work but not much hope for view-through attribution.

Facebook will completely remove view-through conversion attribution by the end of Q2. The new default will be 7-day click.
