Campaign Not Working No Impressions, New Account

Posted by saf-undercover on November 26, 2025 at 5:33 pm

    I have tried everything:

    1. Time for learning phase

The campaigns have been live for 3 weeks now

    2. Low Search Volume Keywords

Keywords have sufficient search volume. Checked it through Keyword Planner and also uber suggest.

    3. Disapproved or Under Review Ads

Ads are eligible. Reconfirmed with Google Ads support.

    4. Bidding Too Low

Have switched to no cap Maximize Clicks

    5. Very Low Budget

Gave Budget 5 times above the selling cost of the product.

    6. Targeting Too Narrow

Setup a Performance max and Shopping as well.

    8. Paused or Limited By Status

    Status is eligible

    9. Payment Issues

    Fully Approved

    10. Conversion Tracking Misconfiguration

    Setup through Shopify (Perfect Tracking)

    11. Targeting Wrong Networks

Tried opening both Search partners or Display partners.

Since your account is new, Google’s algorithms might still be learning how to deliver your ads effectively, especially with Performance Max campaigns. Sometimes new accounts experience limited impressions initially until Google builds enough trust and data signals. You could try running a few broad campaigns with simplified targeting to help the system gather more data faster. Also, double-check audience signals and asset quality in Performance Max; high-quality images, videos, and clear descriptions can improve delivery. Patience is key with new accounts, but optimizing creative and letting Google gather enough signals usually resolves this over time.

Location populated? Ad schedule? Ad diagnostics? Start date? Audience observation vs targeting? Try switching to max impressions. The fact that your having zero impressions typically starts with bidding, should have seen something in days, not weeks. You could try a small manual cpc campaign just to verify your account is working.

Create one small exact-match search campaign with only your highest-intent keywords. Keep it tight (1–5 keywords max) and structure it so Google can’t guess you’re forcing precise matching. This gives you clean diagnostic data: if impressions are still low, the issue is ad rank or competitiveness, not targeting. If impressions pick up, then your broader campaigns aren’t aligned with search intent yet. It’s a simple test, but it tells you exactly where the bottleneck is.

Try setting up a 2nd campaign that’s not related to anything you’re doing but has massive traffic keywords and set the cap to $20. If this still doesn’t get volume then it’s an account issue, not a campaign issue. Also, did you get verified via Google yet?
