Campaign for Mobile App Installs in Facebook Ads for iOS devices is redirecting to Play Store

I’m running app install campaigns for a client and he sent me a screenshot of a ad targeting him on his iphone and redirecting to Play Store.
I don’t understand how that happened, since I select which kind of device I’m targeting on the adsets.
Has anyone been through this?

So let me get this straight, you are running an ios only campaign? Has nothing to do with the ad sets to be honest, your link should re-direct to the proper store based upon the user who clicks on the link. Would need a little more info to better asses…
