Budget For PMAX Launch (1 Product)

Posted by frustratedstudent96 on November 14, 2025 at 7:25 am

I am launching a pmax campaign for a product (priced between $30-$40) and planning to keep it running for 14 days to see if it can convert.

What is a suitable budget if it's just 1 product?

The product can sell on Meta ads so the product page/offer is at least proven.

Budget can be unlimited if your market is big enough.

Make sure to setup conversion tracking properly before doing this. Pmax needs ~30 signals a day to run effectively. Ideally you get server side tagging, include a detailed ecommerce datalayer and send all add to carts up until revenue.

Whats your profit on the product? Aim for ROAS of above 1 in the first 14 days to see if you can scale it.

    Maybe 14×30 to start?

For a single-product PMax test, a solid budget is $30–$50 per day for 14 days. This gives Google enough signals to learn buyers without wasting spend. Anything below $20/day makes the campaign slow and unstable.

Start with $30–$50 a day for the 14-day test. That range gives Google enough daily data to find buyers without being wasteful. Since your product already sells on Meta, make sure your conversion tracking is rock solid. Pmax really needs those purchase signals to perform. If you’re hitting a ROAS above 1 after the first week, you’ll know you’re on the right track to scale.

$50 per day because you want to try and get 1 – 2 conversions per day to make PMax work. If you can upload past customer data for an audience list… I would add that into PMax as a signal.
