    Branded Keyword in 2 Campaign

    I have 2 campaigns, one with the branded keyword as broad match, the other with branded keyword as exact match.

    The broad match campaign budget is about double the exact match campaign. Cpc and ctr on exact match are more performant.

    What’s the best way to eliminate cannibalization and how should I readjust budget?

    Branding campaigns are effective and I like them too. I don’t really see the benefit of having two separate ones though. There’s a real risk of keyword cannibalization and competition that will drive up your CPC. Campaigns will enter the same auction. I use one campaign with phrase match brand-oriented keywords.

    why would you have a branded KW as a broad? It should be exact or a highly negated phrase. This is why the CTR is lower, look at your search terms, its earning non targeted terms from your brand KW
