  • Brand query not showing my site in Google, Bing/DuckDuckGo show it on page 1

    Hi everyone,

I’m facing an indexing issue with my site and would appreciate some insight (site:hglobal.co).

    • When I search my brand name or brand name plus keywords, my site does not appear anywhere on Google. On Bing and DuckDuckGo, however, it shows up on page 1.
    • Indexing has been pending for about 3 weeks now. Out of all pages, only 4 (including the homepage) have been indexed properly.
    • Our brand name is common, but I’d expect the site to at least show up within the first 10 pages.

At this point it feels almost like the website is shadow banned, but I can’t figure out why. Any advice or ideas on what might be causing this would be greatly appreciated.

You’re not shadow banned, your brand phrase is just unknown to Google

It shows for me but there are other brands that have created a search pattern that makes Google think the user made a typo.

You would need to generate a certain volume of searches to correct this.

There are many companies with similar names, which could cause your problems.

Try to build more authority and spread awareness about your brand. Create a LinkedIn page, Instagram, etc. but also on your website where you will have a unified description and name of your company.

In the worst case, if nothing helps, I would consider changing of the domain name to have it the same as the name of the company or rebranding.
