Brand new to SEO – what are the best resources I can use to gain foundational knowledge?

What are some good resources to look into to learn more about SEO and how to incorporate it into my content writing?

Spend 1 hour creating content, and 3 hours acquiring links to that content.
Then you will be an SEO champion loved by all at your company.

Don’t fall for the secret hacks. There aren’t any. It’s just content that answers questions + a site that doesn’t break. Everything else is noise until you understand that.
