Aim for a 95% brand IS or is it a waist money? Any tests I can do? (competitive sector on brand)

If you mean competition is bidding on your brand, yes, it’s absolutely worth testing impression share of brand.

It depends on your industry and model. Ie, Are you running e-commerce? Make sure when repeat customers search your brand they don’t get distracted and pulled in by competition bidding on your name.

Are you running a new brand without much organic presence? Bid on your brand to capitalize on top results.

Many other factors involved as well

Aim as high as you can. Usually (own) brand clicks cost a few cents tops, even if you bid very high. There’s never a reason why not to bid high on your own brand as it costs next to nothing, and usually converts the best. Your competition can *never* get close to the QS you get on your own brand terms.
