Hey! I’m looking for software to auto subtitle the videos that I make. If there are any good free ones, that would be great, but fine to pay as well.

    Any good experiences?

    Thanks

Hi Please try CapCut, which is free.

Canva had a good basic one, although I am not sure whether it is available on the free plan (I have Pro). FlexClip has this ability, although it costs about $250 a year. And I love Opus Clip for turning long videos into shorts with subtitles, although it is about $20 per month. With Opus Clip, I just sign up and cancel several times a year, so I am not paying for months I don’t need.

I’ve had good luck with Veed. Super easy to auto-generate subtitles and tweak them. Kapwing is another solid option if you want more editing control.
