Been calling agencies for 2 days and still so confused on which strategy I should pursue…

Ok so I’ve spend the last two days calling agencies and I’m left more confused than ever before. Every single agency that I have called has suggested something completely different and I’m not sure which way to go about this. So my husband owns a track and field club that’s well known within the two cities that we provide services to and we have about 2000 followers on instagram. During Covid we have been developing an online program to increase running speed and we want to start selling this program. I called a bunch of agencies and this is what they had suggested to me:

    1. Run instagram and facebook ads
    2. Do not run any ads until I increase my brand awareness e.g. redesign my website, start blogging, posting Youtube videos, post more on Instagram
    3. Run google ads

I’ve come to this group to hopefully get advice from experts that have been running ads for years as to which strategy I should go with.

Can you share your website? Feel free to DM. Where you send traffic from the ads is just as important as the ads themselves — i.e. you need a good sign-up page (aka landing page) to convert the traffic from your advertisments.

Hi, since you are selling a service, and may already have some brand equity/awareness as you mention, and I suppose some content on your site and social media is available.

    My reco (#1-3 are free)

    1. ask your users what they think about your program to get ideas about how to advertise your service. You can do that for free on Instagram.
    2. give your program for free in exchange for reviews (you can use your 2K Instagram followers for this)
    3. put those reviews on Facebook & Google My Business (if you don’t have a page yet go and develop one, it will help your SEO) people do check reviews.
    4. once all that is set up, is time to start thinking about advertising. The easiest to start with is facebook-instagram.
    5. it will take time (at least 3 months) don’t be discouraged
    6. youtube could be a next step once you figure the other.

    good luck

Know a bit about PPC, here is some suggestion based on my experience:

Understand what your goal is for the next level.

    Short-term goal

If you have a promotion that is going to start, you can run some ads with the landing page.

    Long-term Goal

Increase brand awareness, user experience, SEO…

Here’s something to consider. Look at your closest and most successful competitor and see what they are doing.

I’ve made a few posts on multiple reddits about Facebook ads strategies and have had a lot of people decide to run Facebook ads for their business after reading my strategy and thought process to Facebook ads.

Many different strategies can work, it’s all about execution. I would say you should consider hiring an expert.
