    ARE THESE GREAT ROAS?

Posted by Ok-Public-7349 on March 12, 2026 at 11:30 pm

I own a marketing agency specialized in the luxury hotel niche. We are currently working with a client in Greece who is asking us to achieve a higher ROAS (starting from 9), even though their ad spend is already very large. Our strategy focuses heavily on prospecting ads rather than retargeting, which naturally results in lower ROAS numbers. At the moment, we are averaging around 7 ROAS combined across Meta and Google.

I am under a lot of pressure from the hotel owners, so I came here to ask for a second opinion how do these results look to you?

This is our spent in META this season :

    €177,798.72 – Total spent
    €1,186,469.70 – Revenue

    In Google Ads :

    81,595.31 – Total spent
    847,841.13 – Revenue

Work on resort in Caribbean and 3 cruise lines at my agency: A ~6.7 ROAS on Meta and ~10+ on Google is above typical benchmarks for luxury travel, where prospecting often lands closer to 3–6 ROAS. Owners often expect 9+ because they compare it to retargeting or direct bookings, but if you’re driving new demand these results are solid.

Just depends. Gross Revenue/cost is one thing but what is Gross Profit for your client. I have a client in the luxury rental space and our min target ROAS is 30.

Depends how much of the revenue came from brand.

If 60%+ it’s fine. Pretty normal.

I worked on Viking, so can relate. Since past passenger loyalty is so absolutely bonkers in this category, your ROAS on net new passenger acquisition seems quite good. Definitely try to push it higher though! You have ample opportunity to cross section and get aggressive with creatives.
