Are people actually looking for alternatives to Discord right now?
Posted by on April 10, 2026 at 5:32 amWith all the recent news around age verification and stricter moderation policies, I’m curious whether people are genuinely considering alternatives or if most will just stick with Discord anyway.
For a lot of people it’s just a place to casually hang out with friends. If the barrier to entry becomes higher, whether that’s ID checks or more structured servers, does that change how people use it?
Not trying to start drama. Just wondering if there’s actually a shift happening or if this is just another internet overreaction.
