Anyone else having their ads suddenly rejected for “Discriminatory Practices”?

Posted by seohelper on August 11, 2021 at 5:13 pm

[Facebook] The past few weeks I’ve had almost all my duplicated ad sets rejected until manual reviews were requested. I do not sell anything that would break these policies, and the same content has been used without issue this entire year. Some of the rejections have been listed for different reasons, such as employment opportunities or political/electoral. I am selling super basic products that have nothing to do with any of that.

Obviously they’re fine since they eventually get approved (after request) which makes it even more infuriating since new duplicates will just get rejected again. Currently my account quality page says there’s been 90 “Discriminatory Practices” violations within the past few weeks…

probably a word or phrase somewhere in your ad copy or landing page. if you say house/home/job/etc. anywhere it can get flagged

Yeah, and you won’t believe how often this happens when you’re spending millions per day. It’s like half of your job is emailing support and complaining about Google to your client.

Call support line, they’ll give you the support email. After that get a manual review. Also add that email your address book because if it happens once, then it’s likely to continue.
