  Anybody have trouble with the Medium import functionality?

  I imported a few stories into Medium from a blog that I manage just to syndicate them there.

  My understanding was that the import function adds the canonical tag so that the Medium copy is marked as the duplicate and the original indexes in its place.

  However, when I search for the content in Google, I find that the *Medium* piece has indexed rather than the original.

  Isn’t this the opposite of what is supposed to happen?
