Hello, I am responsible to optimize a WordPress blog in the term of SEO.

I want to build internal and external linking, seeing which are the best-performing articles and updating/optimize them(Google likes new/updated content and this receives SEO boost).

The problem is that I don’t have access to GA and GSC(my boss lost them), but I have access to the WordPress site. Is there a plugin/s that I can install to see which are the best-performing pages and to start optimization strategy?

1)Which plugin would you recommend me for analyzing the performance of the blog(monthly visitors and to see the performance of the articles/webpages)

2)Which plugin is best for internal linking building?

    P.S

Right now, I don’t have access to Ahrefs or SemRush. I have access only to SimilarWeb Pro

I’m not sure what you mean by “he’s lost them?” You can reclaim them.

Search Console – just add a new code to the site and domain claim. If it was set up before, all the data should be there still.

Analytics – First, look at the source code of the website to see if you can find the GA tracking code number. Write it down. Then create a new account get it started on the live site. Next, I would get on support with them. Tell them you don’t have access to the old account but you do have access to the domain, hosting, and back end of word press. Also tell them you have set up a new account but want the data of the old account merged to the new account. They may make you verify you have access through a .txt file on the root domain, but they can move the existing data over.

If the data is there and you control the hosting, domain, and site, you should be able to get all the back data.
