  • Am I doing it right? Growing account, how to continue?

I started making some videos of drawing followers that were very successful on my account, in 4 days I had a thousand followers, however the vast majority of comments are from children asking me to draw them, I'm making a model that is reacting to the videos on the person's profile and then drawing them, to make it something funnier, but I'm afraid that these followers are just people who want to be drawn and don't follow my content, I want to start with other art content too until I stop with drawing followers, what do you think?

Whats the purpose of growing the account?

If you’re wanting followers and likes, this seems good, youre succeeding.
If you’re wanting to sell a product, this might be good if you can get the kids to have their parents pay for your work.
If you’re wanting to get money to promote other peoples products, you could promote kids toys/games.

If you’re doing it for fun and enjoyment – kids asking for free stuff wouldn’t be super fullfilling to me, but each to their own.

Been there. had a meme page blow up off one format then stalled when i tried to shift. heres what worked:

    1. keep drawing requests as your anchor. post 1-2/week to feed the algorithm
    2. test new art styles between request posts. track which get saves/shares (real engagement)
    3. phase out requests over 8 weeks as new content gains traction

your early followers are a launchpad, not a cage. use their energy to build the next thing.

audiences tolerate evolution if you deliver consistency first.

You built a fun hook, so it makes sense that people followed for the chance to be drawn. You can shift their attention by slowly mixing in the art you actually want to post. most audiences adjust if you introduce it bit by bit. some creators also give their new posts a tiny push through places like Marketerum just to get the right viewers in front of the content they want to focus on. Keep experimenting and youll see what sticks.

The people just told you what they want you for

Start drawing them…. Ask them the top comment will get pinned and drawn

    People will love that

    Maybe start a patreon

You are not doing anything wrong. Now slowly guide that audience towards the content you actually want to be known for. Take this as a fuel for your actual purpose.
