All Facebook ad data for ad run the month of June disappeared?
Ran a conversion video ad for the month of June. Did $50 a day and was converting quite well with somewhere around 280k impressions and 200 purchases over the month. I’m just getting into learning how custom audiences and LLA’s work, so yesterday I decided to create a custom audience based off of what Purchase data my Pixel picked up, create an LLA from that, and duplicate my original campaign to make a new one with the LLA audience. After I created this LLA, I went back into the Ads Manager to duplicate the original ad campaign, and all of the data for this campaign was just gone. It’s like the ad just restarted since it now shows a super low amount spent, impressions, etc.
I duplicated the campaign and made sure to tick the box to allow for all social proof to transfer to the new LLA campaign. When I went into edit the new LLA campaign, ONLY the facebook post retained its likes/comments/shares, but not the Instagram post. Both campaigns are now running with the original Facebook video ad with all of its social proof, but a new Instagram post without any of the original views and likes. Also, it seems like the original campaign is now performing much more poorly – maybe due to lack of data since it was wiped? I’m running it with it’s original targeted demo audience. How is this possible and where did I goof it up? I’m hoping to pinpoint the reason so that I don’t make the same mistake again in the future. It’s super frustrating to lose all of this data for a campaign, topped off with the fact that my Instagram ad is essentially starting anew.
