Adobe will pay $12.00 per share to acquire Semrush, about $1.9 billion equity value. SEMR stock price up by almost 60%.
What do you make of this acquisition? Did you see this coming?
Could be a smart move, as GEO is where the market is heading, and is becoming increasingly important for marketers.

Semrush has played this well. They acquired various media companies, such as Search Engine Land, MarTech and Third Door Media recently which has definitely lifted their brand and web presence. Plus, they’ve been leaders in SEO for some time, and now GEO, so you can see the appeal.
