Adding items to FB catalogue via piexel

We have around 1,200 products, yet having left the pixel to add inventory overnight, I’ve returned this morning to only find 19 items have been successfully added?
Is this b/c the product is only added to the list once the content is viewed post pixel integration?

Yes, pixel only starts working once installed.
