Hi everyone, just wanted to ask here for some peoples opinion since i lurk a lot and get a lot of useful information.
My new client is an accounting business and they are trying to rank better obviously, conversions are low 2,3 clients every month so the success bar isnt too high. But only one blog page is actually ranking and gets traffic.
Would you bother with location pages if they are going after rankings across the US continent or just go after service pages, good quality content and proper internal linking structure.
Also we will be doing ppc , should it link to service pages? Not very experienced with ppc

If they want national reach, I would skip location pages and focus on strong service pages built around intent plus a clean internal linking map that passes authority to the one blog that is already performing.

For PPC you should absolutely send traffic to tightly matched service pages since conversion rates tank when ads lead to generic content.

A couple of well structured landing pages will outperform anything broad and will help you dial in what actually converts instead of guessing.

    1. Location pages: No. Without a physical footprint (GBP), it’s a waste of budget and risky. 2. Strategy: Focus on Service pages + proper internal linking (clusters). 3. PPC: Send traffic to a dedicated landing page designed to convert. If you can’t build one, use the specific service page, but optimize the CTA first
