A 1$ CPC means that a 10$ campaign would get me 10 visitors?!!!
Posted by on June 30, 2020 at 12:46 pmHey I’m just a newbie and wanted to set my first camping, i watched some videos of CPC and as I understood, if a CPC cost 1$ then I’d get just 10 visitors with my 10$ campaign! This is nothing!! I can get more than that for free, there must be something wrong

It means that you will get 10 clicks and not 10 visitors.

Yes, roughly. No, it’s just a semi-competitive niche. If the price is too much, generate traffic another way.

A $1 CPC would mean you’d get 10 Clicks, not necessarily 10 users arriving on your site. Subtle but important difference.
The point of paid media isn’t to merely get people to the site but to get people to the site that convert.
There are lots of ways to get cheap traffic, there are significantly fewer ways to get conversions.
