Sounds like you’re doing all the right things. Keep going. Lift off will come.

I would suggest query counting and iterating content based on that if you haven’t yet.

Also do a content performance audit and see if you have deadweight.

One of the biggest aspects of SEO is brand building. You don’t just show up, you have to build a brand too on the side. That’s been one of my biggest learnings over time.

Nothing you described sounds wrong. It just sounds… early. Six months in furniture SEO is short, even when you do everything “by the book.”

Core updates don’t mean Google hates your site. More often it’s just undecided. Ten good links help, but in this space, trust usually shows up as volume + time, not quick wins.

    A few real-world truths:

    * On-page work gets you in the game, not ahead of it
    * Big brands win because they’ve been winning longer
    * Momentum matters more than perfection

You’re not missing some secret lever. This stuff just moves slower than anyone admits.

The only single way to even get some remote results in your niche is to go EXTREMELY, like super niche.

Long target keywords or keywords with 0-10-30-50 hits per month with low difficulty ( 0-5 kd in semrush ).

Before even going for those keywords check to see if your competition appears for them ( literally google those keywords)

Small wins like this will move the needle eventually
