GuestMarch 9, 2026 at 10:02 pmWhat if social media rewarded thinking instead of outrage? I built an experiment and just launched a Kickstarter.
For years I’ve been frustrated with how social media works.
Most platforms reward:
• quick reactions
• outrage
• viral noiseSo naturally, that’s the kind of content people create.
I wanted to experiment with something different.
I built a platform called ReversedWorld where discussions can evolve into structured debates and the feed tries to reward depth of conversations rather than just reactions or likes.
There’s also an Expert Hub where verified experts can host debates in their fields.
The platform is already live and people are starting to experiment with it.
Today I launched a Kickstarter to support further development and help grow the community.
If you’re curious about the idea or want to support the experiment you can check it out here:
But I’m genuinely curious what people here think.
Do you think changing the incentives of a platform could actually change the quality of discussions online?
