one tell i always use is checking if the bounce rate is suspiciously LOW, like under 10%. real users bounce, bots don’t. had a site claiming 2M monthly visitors with a 4% bounce rate and zero rage clicks in heatmaps, dead giveaway the whole thing was inflated
