If you mean writing articles on one topic as a hobby? It pretty much died barring a few niches like sports etc. It’s like vlogging. Depending on the value you provide people will follow you. i still follow few blogs from long ago.
If you are referring to articles which brings traffic, it depends on what value you are providing. Most of the articles online are spammy at best. But If it provides value over others, it still is good I think. I still follow Hubspot or many other platforms that provides value and insights. I find that LLMS usually gives you one perspective that it thinks is right. I’d like to make that decision for myself.
baseline is if you are looking for massive traffic and ad revenue from that, it’s probably dead. But on the other hand if you provide real value to your customers, it’s not dead.
LLMs are discovery tools. It’ll not kill the internet is what I think.
