It’s a strange one, tools have been recommending it, and in theory it’s a good idea, in practice it’s not used yet.

If you’re in Yoast for WordPress I’d click the button to get it deployed, but if you’re on anything that it’ll take effort and energy to do, it’s not worth it yet.

Google deployed them across all properties for a day, then promptly removed them, not sure what that says other than LLMs aren’t being encouraged by Google at the moment.

Short answer, don’t spend time on it.
