Right now things are great because people have been using that new repost tool. I grew from 16k to 48k in the past few months! Mostly photos, maybe 20% reels.

If you have content that is repost-able, and people are utilizing the new repost feature in your posts, you will do great right now!! If you’re not getting a lot of reposts, your views are going to be way lower than normal right now. IG always does this with new features when they are released.

Beyond that, real connections and authentic enjoyment through interacting and creating is what works best. Having fun is the foolproof way to be an influencer. No part of running my page feels like a job, it’s all fun, and I get paid good money and given free products on top of it!

Brand partnerships are changing as the market gets more saturated. It is taking longer to earn trust than in the past. My advice to anyone trying to earn a living off creating in 2025 – find 4-5 brands that you work well with and do everything you can to negotiate long-term partnerships, like 6 months. Try and resign as much as possible. Not having to do outreach and setting up the same contract with long-term partners is the best way to get consistent income.
