People saying a flat out “don’t” do not know what they are talking about. IT is fine if you are looking to get links from specific sites. There are people selling guest posts on large sites, for those it is perfectly fine.
Do not use them for buying “Backlink package X” where they are promising rank increases and a bunch of poor spammed PBN links or web2.0 links.
