If you’re shy, film mirror fits, over-the-shoulder shots, hands styling details, or crop your face; add text on screen instead of talking. Make a private practice account, shoot 5–10 looks in one session on a clean wall near a window, and use a remote or timer so you’re not posing under pressure.
Reels will grow you faster than photos. Think 5–7 second clips: 3 ways to style one piece, before/after tuck, swap sneakers vs boots. Hook in the first second, keep cuts tight, and put searchable words in captions like brown loafers outfit or spring capsule.
For a clean feed, pick a palette and stick to one preset in Lightroom Mobile or VSCO, shoot in the same two locations, leave negative space, and design simple covers in Canva.
I used Later to batch schedule, CapCut for clean edits, and Path Social to reach real fashion audiences early on.
Keep it faceless and simple at first; post short reels consistently and your confidence will catch up.
