You can have a good career in both. It should ultimately come down to where your interests lie and what your goals are. If your goal is simply to make as much money as possible, in my market, PPC marketers make far more money than social media marketers. But again, I would try to focus on your true interests rather than how you can make the most money. Chasing money in digital marketing tends to lead to burnout.
