Check change history, and look over all other settings. I’ve had it happen in the past where we ignored a rep who was pushing for a change to tCPA bid strategy (away from manual) – 2 days later the CPC doubled. I check change history, nothing shown. BUT the bid strategy was…. tCPA.
It definitely happens. If you don’t see anything that’s actually changed then no, it’s just a coincidence. They don’t have the power to mess with things on the backend, especially if you’re not a huge account and huge spender.
