One thing that helped me stop dreading “Oh no, I have to post something tonight” was to separate creation from posting. I dedicate an hour on Sundays to brainstorm ideas, write out captions and hashtags, and drop everything into a scheduling tool (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, etc.). Having a week (or month) worth of posts loaded up means I’m not scrambling after work and I can just engage with comments during the week.

    A few other tips:

    * Keep a running list of ideas/links/photos in a notes app or Trello board. Inspiration strikes at random; capture it and you won’t sit staring at a blank screen later.

    * Develop a handful of “templates” for captions that fit your tone (question, tip, quote, behind‑the‑scenes, etc.). That way you’re plugging in content rather than starting from scratch every time.

    * Repurpose and remix. Turn a long blog post into several shorter posts, reuse evergreen content, or recycle high‑performing posts with updated context.

    * Batch your visuals. Spend one afternoon taking photos, recording short clips or designing graphics for the next few weeks.

Consistency comes from having a system, not superhuman willpower. Once you put one in place, keeping your accounts active around a full‑time job becomes much more manageable.
