It really depends on your budget. If you have a small budget of say a few thousand dollars you’re usually better off just picking one and sticking with it.
But as your budget increases say closer to $10K/month it makes more sense to run both to help smoothen out performance variability.
However, even then you are basically relying on Google for 100% of your business. Over time you should consider adding Microsoft Ads and possibly Meta as well. And don’t forget about home services aggregators… those can drive great quality leads as well.
As for how they perform, in most cases LSAs will drive more consistent results, but Google Ads will deliver higher quality and lower cost leads. Note this isn’t in every case.
