    I mix both paid and free links, but I focus more on quality than price. Sometimes I use https://www.searchseo.io/bing to check how my links are affecting Bing rankings too, since it gives good insights beyond just Google. Free links from trusted sources can work great if done right, but I also had success with paid ones that are well-placed and not spammy.
