Would amazon Adwords + Facebook blueprint certifications give me most of the fundamentals I need to understand PPC
Hi,
Have the opportunity to take these courses through work and was wondering if these are solid learnings to gain the fundamentals of running campaigns through both of them. Given their created by google and facebook I would think so, but curious to hear what those who have taken these think in terms of value.

These courses will teach you more about the specific platform mechanics + best practices for said platforms. However, some of the best practices you learn will apply cross-platform.
PPC is many disciplines in one, and includes elements of consumer psychology, general marketing strategy, writing, sometimes design, and I’m sure a few more.
If you can take these free, then 100% do it, and you’ll have a head start/extra insight going forward.

The Facebook Blueprint free training courses are decent – I’d skip the certification, though.
It’s pricey + most of the questions don’t even make sense. I’ve seen very experienced advertisers fail simply because the questions are worded/phrased in a very weird way.
The Google Ads certifications are free to take, and the free courses are good enough to get you started, so I’d go for them.
