Why my Google Shopping Ads only shows for branded keywords

Posted by seohelper on August 27, 2021 at 9:18 am

As headline says, shopping ads are showing only for keywords containing a brand name. I did not add Brand name to the product title. Any ideas how to advertise on non-branded keywords?

Share you current actual product titles and I can help you out.

Make a second campaign and set all your branded keywords as negatives. Lower bids accordingly.

I make it high priority, and branded low to funnel traffic to it.

Either your nonbrand KWs are irrelevant or do not have at least a little traffic, or your bids might be too low if there is competition.

Not enough information to answer this. Google looks at your whole shopping feed and not just your product title to understand how to rank your SKUs. You don’t need to have a keyword in your product title to rank for shopping ads. The issue could be your shopping feed, bids and or your campaign structure.
