Where has FB’s Audience Insights features gone?

Posted by seohelper on August 25, 2021 at 2:29 pm

Hi there! It’s been a couple of months since I last used Facebook ads and now that I come back to it, Audience Insights has lost so many features. I can only put in location, age, gender, interest and language. So no behaviour, family, life events, education, work etc.

Does anyone know why? I’ve looked through Facebook’s faq and googled but no luck, seems like I’m the only one with this problem ? I’m sure there’s some logical explanation that I’m missing. Thankful for any tips ?

Facebook has removed it at the end of June.

It was justified by “not being used enough by advertisers,” but the real reason is the pressure Facebook has been getting from the Senators regarding a monopoly creation. The Audience Insights tool had been a major part of it when you think about it.

Yeah, it’s been gone for a minute now. Anyone care to share their methods for identifying and testing new audiences now? I play somewhat of a guessing game.

I build [audiencescout.io](https://www.audiencescout.io/) as a replacement for Audience Insights.

It works just the same and lets you find related audiences ranked by affinity.

Though my tool at the moment hasn’t quite as many audiences to pick from as the original Facebook Audience Insights (currently there are a little more than 400 audiences to pick from inside AudienceScout). But that is still better than nothing.

To be upfront, this tool is paid to continue using after the free trial. Plans start @ $27 a month which should be worth it assuming you get better ad results using it.

Would love to have you start a free trial and tell me if you find it useful.

    Thanks!
