  • Tracking comments on third party IG

    Hi guys,

We are working with several influencers on Instagram and we are expecting them to get a fair amount of engagement each, including comments.

Due to the sector regulations, we need to track all these comments searching for specific keywords (no hashtags).

Our current social aggregator does not capture comments on assets we don’t own, does anyone have any suggestions of methods or tools that could help with the purpose?

    Thanks in advance!

Let’s just “parking lot” that item, and maybe we can circle-back to it later.

You’ll need to do scraping, and there’s a good chance you’ll need to do that from a proxy. Good luck with this, perhaps you might have better luck seeking a third-party service that’ll sell you this data.

Hey, I have a bit of experience writing scripts and tools to do web scraping. I’m interested in what you’re talking about. It seems like you need a tool to collect Instagram comments, metadata about those comments, and automatically create something like a CSV or sqlite database that could be searched for the keywords you’re looking for.

Do you have a budget for acquiring or using a tool like this?

If you want to talk about it please message me directly or by email at inteoryx at protonmail dot com.
