What are best practices for connecting and interacting with people on Twitter? What strategies do you use?

Some accounts do great at having discussions with their followers, while others just endlessly scream into the void hoping someone hears them, and it’s not just about number of followers.

    How do you do it?

    Provide value to your followers
It can be Entertaining, Educational, Motivational, or Relational Value.

And try to engage with the community and make them feel as if you care about them(which you should)

Just like what I’m doing right now
    A. Providing educational value
    B. Showing care/interest
    C. Engaging in sort of an one to one convo

    Hope this helps 🙂

I mostly got this info from reading about social media growth books and just knowing how to grow on a platform :3

If you can answer the question as to “why” users come to you over others for a certain type of content, that could really help I’m sure.

Start with what it is you want your ideal community to come to you for eg. relatable lifestyle, tech products, awesome daily photos, field-specific opinions. You just need to pick a cool area where you can provide entertainment/educational/inspirational value which can only come from you or a few others, which users like.

Comment and engage with conversations, jump in and have fun with it! Some times it does feel weird like you’re talking to yourself, but it’s ok after a while
