Is anyone using TikTok to promote your business? I’m stuck on this, because the whole idea of TikTok is to entertain. If I’m selling phone cases or keychains, for example, how do I entertain? The other thing is, it seems to get on TikTok, you need to be those who aren’t camera-shy and have to be extroverted, so I guess TT is out for folks like myself……

Selling phone cases to an audience that by default has a phone in their hand seems like a no brainer. You don’t have to be extroverted..you can do fun stuff behind the camera and/or have voiceover

You should have a presence, but ask yourself why a teenager would follow a phone case company?…because I agree, it does seem much more of an entertainment focused platform then just general posts like on IG.

Content-wise, I’d consider making reposts of other content creators / influencers you partner with to promote your items rather than making marketing / product heavy videos…solves your on-camera-person problem for you…but I’d perhaps put more resources on community / commenting rather then trend hopping, and again…just have a presence.

    > keychains

Keychain creation videos go viral on /r/nextfuckinglevel, /r/oddlysatisfying, and other subreddits. These videos are often reposted on tiktok

You don’t need a presence to sell, just a good creative and launch your ad

There’s a popular blender, they did these YouTube videos… “will it blend” or something.. They used to blend all sorts of everyday stuff… Who’d have thought blender videos could go viral, but hey, here we are.

Id see some “will it break” tiktoks lol. Test different phone covers or something. Maybe you can use old phones or freeze some ice or something, and put in a phone case and drop it. Do slow mo n stuff. Dunno, but I’m sure you can come up with creative videos to do.
