So! I read an article about how to handle trolls. However, it seemed like those typical Generation Y articles. There were only those run-of-the-mine tips like ignoring them. But trolls are more difficult than those playground bullies. So … Let’s collect real tips against trolls. This would be nice.

Best is to ignore. A troll lives to get fed. Starve it.

I agree. The best response to negativity is simply not responding. It’ll make that troll feel like their opinion don’t matter. The minute you respond to a troll they’re fueled by making you drop to their level.

I troll my trolls. As long as they are busy with me, they don’t have time to bother my people. This only works if you have a self-deprecating sense of humor and a solid IDGAF attitude.

If your trolls say anything defamatory, threaten to sue!
