    The answer is “it’s complicated”

    99.99% of the time people who post a link to something do so in a spammy way. But if you are able to make it not spam and showcase why it’s valuable then it is typically cool.

    Look at some other entrepeneur subreddits like r/EntrepreneurRideAlong and see how people are creating long form posts.

    The key thing to a survey is to generate one that people want to fill out. If you present it correctly and ask the correct questions you are actually going to wind up making customers like you more and want to help by supplying their opinions.
