  Posting links for blogs/news on Twitter (upload photo vs link preview)

  Looking for feedback on posting links on Twitter for blog/news posts.

  Currently we write a small description, paste the link and upload a photo. For me watching on Tweetdeck, that’s more impactful than just the link which doesn’t generate a preview.

  Is this best practice? Or are we generally better served by pasting the link and allowing Twitter to generate the link preview.

  I think more of it depends on the unique quality of the image and how compelling the short description is.
